Debate a formal discussion on a particular matter in a public meeting or legislative assembly, in which opposing arguments are put forward and which usually ends with a vote. Although debating in various forms has a long history, and can be traced back to the philosophical and political debates of Ancient Greece, such as Athenian democracy, modern forms of debating and the establishment of debating societies occurred during the Age of Enlightenment in the 18th century and is still being carried out and consists of many major debaters which also consists of our today’s hero Mr. Ammad Shakeel.
Mr. Ammad was born on Jan 21 1992 and belongs from the beautiful valleys of Quetta, Balochistan. He had done his matriculation from Islamia Public High School, Intermediate from General Musa College, BBA (Bachelors in Business Administration) from Alhamd Islamic University and had done his MS from National University of Modern Language.
From childhood Mr. Ammad had a love for debate and wanted to be a great debater, he also was every time very much motivated from his friend who was a very good debater, then at the age of 9 Years he’s life turned to a serious point and Mr. Ammad got cancer which put his all family to a great difficulty as they didn’t wanted to lose him and he was taken to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital for treatment as soon as possible, there he delivered his First Speech at front of Mr. Imran Khan (Founder & President of PTI), somehow by the help of Allah Almighty Mr. Ammad fought the disease and was being cured.
When Mr. Ammad was in 8th Standard he got 1st Position in All Balochistan School Debate Competition, then gradually coming to the college and carrying his career with him he participated in All College Level Speech Competition and again got 1st Position not only did he took his career to college but also when Mr. Ammad joined university for further education he got interested in Humorous Speeches. Mr. Ammad had always been a topper and runner up in his competitions which consists of Lahore School of Economics All Pakistan Speech Competition/ 3rd Position, Pakistan Air Force Academy Speech Competition/4th Position, Christian College Lahore/2nd Position, Quetta All Balochistan Universities Speech Competition/1st Position & Cash Prize 50,000 From Nasir Janjua, First HEC Balochistan District Speech Competition/Got to Top 3, Lahore Engineering University Parliamentary Speech/Top 4 and then Participated in All Pakistan Universities Speech Competition in which 194 Universities had participated and Mr. Ammad came in Top 15 and got to Islamabad and their got 1st Position in that top 15 and received 1 Lac Cash Prize from Wali Ur Rehman.
Mr. Ammad had also been President of Pakistan Debating Society from 2013 to 2015 and also President of Youth Debating Society for 1 Year 2015, Mr. Ammad had also been awarded by Drama Competition Award/2nd Position and also got 2nd Position in Business Idea Competition conducted at Quetta.
Mr. Ammad’s hobbies are Cricket, Reading Books, Specking and Colum Reading; His Ideals are Mr. Iqrar-Ul-Hassan (Anchor/TV Host) and Mr. Anwar Masood. Mr. Ammad’s dream is to be a great and honest anchor and TV Host of a news channel and his message for the youth is “God Helps Only People Who Works Hard, The Principal is clear”.
