Today our article is an inspirational story of a young talented boxer from Balochistan who touch the zenith of success and through his talent waved Pakistan flag around the world. The name of our struggler is Mr. Mohammad Waseem. He was born on 29th August 1989 in the talent rich capital of Balochistan. Unfortunately Balochistan is even lacking basic sports facility but fortunately the soil is rich with talent.
In the tender age of 10 Mr. Waseem came across the boxing legend and coach Mr Atta Muhammad Kakar who was running Youth Boxing Club near his residence. He started his practice and with the passage of time the love for the game turned into passion. He choosed boxing as his career. In the beginning of his career he faced ups and downs. The boxing selection board ignored him on multifarious national and international events. One day Mr. Waseem was fighting in ring when a coach named Mr Tariq noticed his skill and styles. The hidden talent of Mr Waseem was noticed by Mr Tariq and he took Mr. Waseem under his guidance and training.
In the age of 15 Mr Waseem became National boxing champion. He also joined Pakistan Wapda Team who supported Mr. Waseem in every platform. With passage of time he was selected in Pakistan team and has been honored for winning majority of international matches from 2004 to 2017. In his Career Mr Waseem visited more than 45 Countries and had 300+ fights in Amateur Boxing Championships, he also has the honor for being 6-0 professional in WBC (World Boxing Championship).
In Mr. Waseem’s career he won various matches and some of these were in World Combat Games, Beijing in 2010, China Kings Cup Bangkok in 2009, Turkey Istanbul in 2009, Benazir Internationnal Competition 2009 in Karachi, South Asia Game Dhaka in 2010,Common Wealth Games in Delhi 2010, President Cup in Jakarta in 2011, in 2014 Mr. Waseem signed the professional boxing game and started his career as a profesional boxer. Mr. waseem has been honored for wining all his professional matches and remained unbeatable till today.
After wining so many matches and raising the name of Balochistan Paksitan in whole world Mr. Waseem has been supported and honored by Lieutenant General Amir Riaz and Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Shareef.
Mr. Waseem ideal personality is the great boxer of all times the legend Mr. Mohammad Ali and his message to the youth is that “No One Is Perfect, That’s Why Pencils Have Erasers”.
