Social Activism consists of efforts to promote, impede, direct, or intervene in social, political, economic, or environmental reform with the desire to make changes in society. So today Balochitsan Stars’s article is on a highly talented and passionate young blood, a guy on a mission to change the society through his way of working and ideas within his mind, the name of today’s hard worker and social activist Mr. Naseem Khan Achakzai. Who belongs from the beautiful valley of Killa Abdullah (location near Chaman).
As coming to his educational background and the portion of life so as narrated to Balochistan Stars by Mr. Naseem he gained his O & A Level’s Degree from Quetta, he has a Bachelors Degree in (Sociology), Masters in (Public Administration) from University of Management and Technology (UMT) and also doing Common Wealth MSC Poverty Reduction from University of London.
Naseem began his journey as a volunteer working for flood victims in Pakistan and gained first hand experiences in the field. He has worked in the far flung areas of Pakistan and all his volunteer and social work gained him professional qualifications in terms of scholarship awards to further equip him with required and professional knowledge and skills. He has kept many designations which consists of; Director Operation of an NGO (Comprehensive Disaster Response Services) in 2011in which he was leading a team of 60people and was the youngest person at such a position, after some times of gaining experience and working at the NGO he later formed his own NGO by the name of (HILA) which means hope in Pashto Language. Before forming HILA Mr. Naseem started series by the name South Asian Youth Conference which was started in Pakistan in 2012of which’s 7th Accomplished Conference was held at Kabul. He also has the honor of being the Founder of CSRP which is Pakistan’s first Youth Led Think Tank based at the University of Lahore. The Think Tank aims at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a youth led approach.
Mr. Naseem has represented his country and has been invited in many International Conferences which consists of Brazil, Poland, Afghanistan, China, UAE and many more. He also has been awarded by many multifarious awards like Hope of Future Award 2011, Young Achiever Award, Academic High Achiever Award and many more. He also has the honor of being an Article writer for and which are published at Daily Times.
As narrated to Balochistan Stars Mr. Naseem’s ideal from which he gains his inspiration is Che Guevara. He’s hobby is playing Volleyball and his ambition is to prepare a group of 100 young dedicated persons to lead the youth with the aim of doing something for Pakistan and work for women empowerment. His Message for the youth is “I have great hope tomorrow, My hope lies in three things truth, Youth and Love”
