Wushu or Chinese Kung Fu is a hard and complete martial art, as well as a full-contact sport. It has a long history in reference to Chinese martial arts. It was developed in China after 1949 in an effort to standardize the practice of traditional Chinese martial arts, yet attempts to structure the various decentralized martial arts traditions date back earlier, when the Central Guoshu Institute was established at Nanking in 1928. So Balochistan Stars today’s article is also based upon the boy who has strengthened his footsteps in this martial arts and made his country proud. Our today’s star name is Mr. Shahzaib Rind whose first cry was witnessed in the rich soil of Quetta, Balochistan. He’s doing his BS in IR (International Relations) from BUITEMS (Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences).

Now coming to the portion of his life that how he started or came in this field is that as narrated to Balochistan Stars Mr. Shahzaib in his childhood was so impressed by Bruce Lee that he started Wushu and continued it as his career. He is a player of Wushu since he was 7 Years Old and now has the honor of being a National Player in WAPDA and International Player of Wushu. He started Wushu under the supervision of two best personalities which he still gives them the honor of being his teacher which are Mr. Nasir Khan Sasoli and Mr. Hafeez Toofan Khan.

As narrated to Balochistan Stars Mr. Shahzaib’s family is a big supporter of him in his Wushu’s career specially his mother whom prayed day and night for her son’s accomplishment. As coming to his struggle Mr. Shahzaib has fought day and night for his dreams without any financial support, having no proper place to train without any teacher, he used to search YouTube and Google for workout or training suggestions. He also sometimes got disappointed especially when he won Silver Medal in Between 28+ Countries when wasn’t appreciated or supported but he didn’t gave up and continued his career, he mentions that the only supporter he is thankful to is his University and its officials who helped and supported him. He also mentions that because of the lack of support he also has missed many championships in which he believed he will Wave his country’s flag.  

Mr. Shahzaib has the honor of being undefeated in his 10 years. He has participated and won many multifarious matches of the event which are National Games Lahore 2012: Gold Medal, D.C.O Cup All Pakistan Jhang 2013: Gold Medal, Silver Jubilee National Championship Azad Kashmir 2015: Gold Medal, All Pakistan Wushu Championship Jhang 2015: Gold Medal, All Pakistan Inter-University Lahore 2017: Gold Medal, 20th National Wushu Championship 2017: Gold Medal. Mr. Shahzaib has also represented his country and also won the proud for Pakistan in West Asia Wushu Championship Iran 2015: Silver Medal, 5th Pars Cup Wushu Championship Tehran Iran 2016: Bronze Medal. D.C.O 3rd Nation Wushu Championship 2016: Gold Medal, 4th Islamic Games Baku Azerbaijan 2017, Asian Games Indonesia Sandawan International Wushu Championship: Belt Holder, Yemen: Silver Medal, Kazakhstan: Silver Medal, Afghanistan: Silver Medal, Iraq: Silver Medal

Mr. Shahzaib’s vision and aim is to build gymnasiums with the help of Govt. in Balochistan and a high class of technical’s to make world champions from Baclochistan. His ideal personalities from whom he is inspired and takes motivation are Bruce Lee, Muhammad Ali and Connor McGregor. Last but not the least his message for the youth is” Work Hard never look back, let Success be your Noise ”.
