Success belongs to those who dare to achieve it. Our today’s motivational story is a lady who not  only challenged the conservative customs of society but also touched the heights of success at a very young age. She is none other than Miss Fareeda Tareen who exerted a lot of efforts in proving it to the society that imparting education to females is as important as to males. She proved that women can contribute positively to the society in particular and to the country in general.          

Basically she belongs to district Pishin and got primary education in her hometown. Later, she shifted to Quetta for quality education. Her family did not want to waste her potential and wanted to let her achieve success. She did her schooling from Iqra Army Public School Quetta and she did her intermediate from Islamia Girls College Quetta. Later on, she completed BA as a private candidate from University of Balochistan. She has remained an active participant in co-curricular activities in her student life. She has participated in English declamation speeches throughout her academic career.

Miss Fareeda Tareen got admission in GCU Lahore and completed Masters in Political Science. She not only grabbed a roll of honour in studies but also actively participated in co-curricular activities .Here she remained a member of Quaid-e-Azam Political Science Society. She was also a member of debating society and delivered parliamentary style debates. She was also selected in youth parliament PILDAT and remained its Deputy Speaker.

Miss Fareeda Tareen has used different forums since childhood.  She participated in Sunday Pakistan:a Pashto radio program which was for kids at that time. Moreover, she has also remained part of Girls Guides for two years.

Miss Fareeda Tareen  has taught CSS and PCS aspirants at SEERS academy and Anfal academy  since a long time. She worked under PMYIP as internee at University of Balochistan. She passed the PCS exam in November 2017  and joined her first job as Assistant Settlement Officer. Here, she tried to be as punctual and responsible as possible because she thinks helping people is her foremost priority. Besides her official job, she aims to introduce projects for female education at national or international level because she believes women empowerment is the panacea to many of the ills in our society. Moreover, Miss Fareeda Tareen remained a frontline fighter against Covid-19 and worked as Magistrate with DC Quetta. Currently, Madam is serving as Section Officer at Section-8 S&GAD.

She is an example of women empowerment and has started an autobiography and completed 2 chapters. She also encourages females who approach her in private capacity and also imparts awareness to people about the importance of education.
