Born in 1978 in the fertile district of Jaffarabad, Balochistan, Aziz Ahmed Jamali developed a deep connection to his land and its people from an early age. Driven by a desire to contribute meaningfully to society, he pursued higher education, earning a Master’s degree in Sociology from Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad.

His entry into public governance began in 2001 when he successfully cleared the Provincial Civil Service (PCS) examination, securing his initial appointment as a Section Officer in Quetta. Driven by a vision to serve on a broader national canvas, Jamali set his sights higher. Within two years, he competed in the prestigious Central Superior Services (CSS) examination and was inducted into the elite Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS)—formerly known as the District Management Group (DMG).

Throughout his tenure in both the Federal and Provincial Governments of Balochistan, Jamali has earned a reputation as an exceptionally high-performing administrator. His career features several key leadership assignments:

• Deputy Secretary in the Federal Government
• Deputy Commissioner of Sibi
• Deputy Commissioner of Awaran
• Additional Secretary for Secondary Education, Balochistan

In every role, Jamali’s governance approach has been centered on institutional reform, transparency, and rapid crisis response.

• Environmental Stewardship: A passionate advocate for climate action, Jamali spearheaded massive afforestation drives, leading the planting of 10,000 trees in Awaran and an extraordinary 70,000 trees in Sibi, drastically impacting local ecological conservation.
• Disaster Recovery & World Habitat Nomination: Following a catastrophic earthquake in Awaran, Jamali led complex, community-centered rehabilitation efforts. The project’s innovative, resilient design earned international recognition, securing a nomination for the prestigious World Habitat Award.
• Youth & Gender Equality in Education: A strong proponent of the Boy Scouts movement, Jamali has repeatedly mobilized youth for civic causes. As Additional Secretary of Education, he focused on elevating academic standards while working tirelessly to eliminate gender disparities, advocating fiercely for equal educational access for girls across the province.
