At Balochistan Stars, our enduring mission has been to spotlight those extraordinary individuals who shatter glass ceilings and redefine what is possible for the youth of our province. Today, we proudly celebrate a historic milestone: Tayyaba Kakar, hailing from the Pishin district (Kachagi), has etched her name in history as the first-ever female from Balochistan to be appointed as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Tayyaba’s academic journey reflects profound perseverance. After completing her matriculation from St. Joseph’s Convent School and her intermediate education at Girls College Quetta, she pursued her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University Law College. Notably, she was part of the pioneering batch when the 5-year LLB program was first introduced in Balochistan in 2016.
Although her early academic background leaned toward pre-medical under family expectations, Tayyaba’s inner calling was deeply rooted in justice and advocacy. With the unwavering support and encouragement of her father, she pivoted toward the legal field, choosing a path where she could directly serve humanity.

The Supreme Court Judicial Law Clerkship is a highly competitive flagship program that draws hundreds of brilliant legal minds from across Pakistan.
“Being appointed as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Supreme Court right after graduation is not just a personal honor, but a proud moment for the entire legal fraternity and people of Balochistan.”
Reflecting on the legal profession, Tayyaba addresses common societal hesitations regarding women entering the legal field or stepping into courtroom environments. She firmly rejects the notion that the professional environment compromises personal safety or privacy, encouraging aspiring female law graduates across Balochistan to step forward.
“The environment and respect given to women in Balochistan’s legal fraternity are remarkable. I urge all female law graduates to step out, join the profession, and represent our region with pride.”
Beyond her legal achievements, Tayyaba is actively involved in community welfare, youth leadership conferences, and social initiatives. Looking ahead, she aims to focus heavily on legal awareness, ensuring that citizens understand their constitutional rights, while continuously advocating for greater female representation and career counseling for regional students.
Balochistan Stars salutes Tayyaba Kakar for her monumental achievement, wishing her boundless success as she carries the voice and brilliance of Balochistan to the highest courts of the land.
