Matches are decided in moments—when a fighter can no longer continue, breaks under pressure, or yields to sheer determination. Today, Balochistan Stars presents a phenomenal young athlete whose ring presence and fierce determination leave no doubt about her talent: Miss Malaika Zahid, the first and youngest female boxing champion of Balochistan.

Hailing from Quetta, Malaika is currently a 7th-grade student balancing her academic life with elite athletic preparation.

Fulfilling a Father’s Dream

Malaika’s entry into boxing carries a deep family connection. Her father, Mr. Muhammad Zahid Qayyum, was once an aspiring boxer whose own sporting journey was cut short by unforeseen circumstances. Little did he know that his daughter would one day carry his passion forward onto national stages.

The turning point came unexpectedly. While watching television one afternoon, a young Malaika stumbled upon a broadcast of a live boxing match. Mesmerized by the technique and intensity of the sport, she made a firm decision right then: she would step into the ring and become a champion.

Forging a Champion

Malaika began her formal training in 2015 under the guidance of veteran boxing champion Mr. Atta Muhammad. Later, she joined the Young Hudda Boxing Club, refining her skills under coach Mr. Ghulam Nabi Langove.

What sets Malaika apart is her rare adaptability and confidence. A ambidextrous fighter who excels with both hands, she regularly spars with male opponents in the ring without hesitation—a testament to her mental strength and tactical skill.

An Unbeaten Legacy

Malaika’s competitive record is nothing short of extraordinary. Having competed in over 10 major tournaments, she remains completely undefeated, earning a Gold Medal in every single championship she has entered.

Her key achievements include:
