Mr. Waqas Mengal, born on October 6, 1994, in Quetta, Balochistan, is a dedicated individual committed to societal betterment, particularly focused on youth empowerment. Holding an MS in IT from Quetta, he is actively involved in various youth-related organizations. Founder of the “Balochistan Stars” mega project, he utilizes his IT skills to showcase positive contributions to society through a dedicated website and over 1,000 interviews since 2016
As President of Balochistan Stars, Mr. Mengal serves as a motivational speaker and guest lecturer, signing MOUs with universities to provide platforms for student development. Beyond individual efforts, he engages in initiatives promoting peace, environmental sustainability, tree plantation, women empowerment, and cultural activities. His vision includes showcasing the hidden beauty of Balochistan to revive tourism and attract national and international visitors
Mr. Waqas Mengal’s holistic approach to community development is evident in his ambitious projects, such as Balochistan’s first-ever personality-centered magazine and the Balochistan Stars Awards, recognizing individuals across sectors, All Parties Youth Conference, Social Media Festival. Despite challenges, he has received awards like the SATHA Innovation Award and many more for his relentless efforts and sacrifices. His story serves as inspiration, emphasizing the need for more energe- tic minds to contribute to Balochistan’s progress on a national scale
