Syed Ali shah belongs to Pishin district. He has been working as a Bureau chief of Dawn newspaper for last 14 years . He completed his primary education from Killi Torkhel and matriculation from Gulistan. Due to financial crisis , unfortunately, he was unable to proceed his education in any institution so, he started manual labour work to support his family. He was very much interested in Studying, that he started self study and gave private F.A and B.A exams.In 1999, he took admission in Master in the subject of english literature from University of Balochistan. He started a job as a clerk and circulation assistant at Balochistan times while continuing his studies alongside. Later on fortunately, he got an opportunity to write news reports for Balochistan times. For a period of two years, he worked for free.
